Owner, Nicole (Landgraf) DuBois, BS, RN
Nicole (Landgraf) DuBois , state licensed esthetician, registered nurse, and Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (CAHP) with experience working in the day spa, salon industry, hospitals, and wellness coaching.
Born in Cape County on a farm, I was raised with hard work and a quest for knowledge as a basis of life.
After graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business, I decided to further my education in a subject that intrigued me, aesthetics.
I graduated from the Aesthetics Institute of St. Louis in the spring of 2004. Since then I have been trained in a variety of product lines and procedures that have made me the well-rounded esthetician I am today.
I have this crazy thirst for knowledge, so I decided again to expand my education.
I went to the Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and graduated October 2008. I have worked as an RN at one of the local hospitals.
The knowledge I have been able to bring back to my day spa is invaluable. It has made me a better esthetician.
I started Aura Skin & Body Care in May 2007 after working in other salons and day spas in Cape Girardeau since 2004. I wanted to offer clients a warm, quiet atmosphere away from distraction so they could relax and rejuvenate (R & R) and receive one-on-one skin care therapy treatments. I am excited to be on a great journey of wellness in life and have many plans for the future. I know that my clients will love what I have in store for them and I invite you to join us on this wellness journey.
Since 2007, I have continued to educate myself in many different modalities and treatments in both the salon and complementary health. Thus, in 2018 I changed the name to Aura Skin & Wellness Center. This name encompasses where I am taking Aura throughout the future.
Aura is not just a fluffy spa treatment. We address and nourish your mind, body, and spirit so you can Look Good, Feel Great, and Live Well.
